What is a Flipp?
A Flipp is a short link with a preview image you designed. When you share it in a chat or on social media, people see your image instead of the one the website picked. A click still takes them to the original page.
Does the link still go to the same page?
Yes. Flippto only changes the preview. The destination stays exactly the same.
Do I need an account?
No. Without an account you can make up to 5 Flipps a month. A free account removes the limit and adds editing, collections, a public profile and stats.
What happens to the Flipps I made before signing up?
When you create an account or sign in in the same browser, the Flipps you made there move into your account.
Where can I share a Flipp?
Anywhere a link works: WhatsApp, iMessage, Signal, Telegram, Slack, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, e-mail and more. Each app shows the preview image when the link is posted.

Which images can I use?
Your own photos, the original preview, stickers and text. Only use images you are allowed to use. Every image is checked automatically, and images that break the rules are removed.
Can I change a Flipp after I made it?
Yes, as long as nobody has opened or shared it yet: go to your profile, open the Flipp and choose Edit Flipp. After that the preview stays as it is, because people may already have seen it. Make a new Flipp instead.
Why does an app still show an old preview?
Many apps keep a preview once they have loaded it. A new Flipp gets a new short link, so its preview is always loaded fresh.
How do I delete a Flipp?
Open it in your profile and choose Delete Flipp. If it has already been opened or shared, choose Remove from profile instead.
What are collections?
Folders for your Flipps: a reading list, a trip, gift ideas. You can show them on your public profile or keep them for yourself.
Account & privacy
Is my profile public?
No, it stays private until you switch it on in Settings → Privacy. There you also decide whether visitors see your numbers ("Showing stats").
What do the stats count?
How often each Flipp was viewed and by how many people. Simple numbers, no tracking circus.
How do I report a Flipp?
Open the Flipp and choose Report. We look at every report.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Your Flipps and your profile are removed.
What is Pro?
Pro is coming soon, with Secured Flipps, pretty links (like flipp.to/autumn-sale) and deeper stats. Everything you can do today stays free. See plans
